What Does The Energy Assessment / Home Sustainability Assessment Involve?
An Aussie Home Inventories professionally qualified and accredited Home Sustainability Assessor, will provide you with a Energy Assessment Report for your home. This report is valid for six months and is the key to accessing the $10K interest-free Green Loan.

What Do I Need To Do To Have A Home Sustainability Assessment Taken & Receive The Report?
It will help our Home Energy Assessor, if you have an idea of your electric / gas consumption for the last year. This is not compulsory though, a recent electricity & water bill is required.
 Step 2 - An AHI Home Sustainability Assessor will arrive at the booked time. The assessment will operate on a 'room to room' basis.
Step 3 - Your Assessor will discuss ways in which you can reduce energy and water consumption, providing some initial suggestions. This additionally helps the assessor to build a picture of your household's environmental aspirations, current practices and behaviours.
Step 4 - You will receive from the Australian Government your Home Sustainability Assessment Report describing the assessment's findings, recommending actions including any Green Loan eligible actions. Further services or information will be provided.
Can The Green Home Loan Be Use In Conjunction With Other Federal / State Government Rebates?
YES it can, as eligibility for the subsidised Green Loan is not affected by other available subsidies and incentives for the same items or actions. For example you may use the Green Loan to install an energy saving hot water system and then claim back the Federal Government's rebate. The Green Loan allows you to install further options.
